💙  Who We Are Playing For
Playing for Jack McDermott

Jack McDermott has been part of the Fraser Valley hockey community for over a decade, and skated for the inaugural Middle Park High School team that debuted in 2025. Partway through that first season, Jack unexpectedly lost his father, Craig. He finished the year leaning on his teammates and his mother, Nancy, graduated in May, and is now at Montana State University hoping to continue his hockey career at the ACHA level.

The financial burden on Jack and Nancy has been very difficult. Proceeds from this year’s Fraser Freeze Out go toward rallying behind this terrific young man as he focuses on his next steps.

DAWG Nation is matching 3:1 on the first $2,500 donated.
Can’t make the tournament but still want to help? You can give to Jack directly.
